Vitality Stadium
Bournemouth, United Kingdom · matchday guide
Dean Court, the Vitality Stadium, is the smallest ground in the Premier League, and that tightness gives it a proper old-school atmosphere. Here is how to do a matchday in Bournemouth.
Getting there
The Vitality Stadium sits in Kings Park, a mile or so northeast of Bournemouth town centre. Bournemouth rail station is about a 25 to 30 minute walk, or a short bus ride, and there are park-and-ride options on busier days. Parking right by the ground is very limited given the size, so plan ahead.
The away end
Away supporters are housed in the East Stand, along the side of the pitch. It is a small, tight ground, so wherever you sit you are close to the action and the away end can make itself heard. Turn up early; the compact size means queues build fast.
Around the ground
Kings Park around the stadium is green and open, a different feel to a city-centre ground, with the sea a short trip away if you are making a weekend of it. One of the more characterful small grounds to tick off your list.
