Selhurst Park
London, United Kingdom · matchday guide
Selhurst Park is one of the loudest grounds in London, and the Holmesdale Road end brings the noise and the flags. Here is how to do a matchday in SE25.
Getting there
Selhurst Park sits in south London. Three stations sit within a 10 to 15 minute walk: Selhurst, Norwood Junction and Thornton Heath, with trains from London Bridge, Victoria and the Overground. There is no real matchday parking, so rail is the way in.
The away end
Away supporters are housed in the Arthur Wait Stand, along the side of the pitch. Selhurst is old-school and close to the pitch, and the home Holmesdale end is one of the best atmospheres in the league, so it is a proper away day. Give yourself time from the station.
Around the ground
The streets around Selhurst are classic south London, terraced houses and corner shops, with the ground tucked in among them. The Palace support and the Holmesdale end are the draw. A characterful one to add to your grounds list.
