Molineux has been Wolves' home since 1889, gold and black through and through, and a big night under the lights in the Black Country carries real history. Here is how to do a matchday in Wolverhampton.

Getting there

Molineux sits on the edge of Wolverhampton city centre, around a 15 minute walk from the railway station through town and round the ring road. The approach passes the Billy Wright statue at the main entrance. City-centre pubs line the walk in, and rail is the easy way in given the central location.

The away end

Away supporters are usually housed in the lower tier of the Steve Bull Stand, which runs along one side of the pitch rather than behind a goal, with a standard allocation of around 2,750. Smaller followings are sometimes placed in a side of the Stan Cullis Stand instead, and cup games can extend the allocation. Check your club's travel details for the exact section, and arrive in good time.

Around the ground

The ground carries its history well, with statues of Billy Wright and Stan Cullis and the famous gold and black everywhere you look. The Leaping Wolf near the ground and the city-centre pubs are away-friendly options. A historic Black Country ground to tick off your list.
